How to Draw a Human Face

Step 1: Outline the Basic Shape

Start by sketching a rough outline of the human head. This shape should be egg-shaped, with the narrower end at the bottom.

Step 2: Draw the Middle Line

Next, draw a vertical line down the center of the head. This will divide the face into two halves.

Step 3: Add the Chin and Neck

Draw a small curve at the bottom of the head to form the chin. Then, add a few lines below the chin to represent the neck.

Step 4: Draw the Eyes

Locate the middle point of the head on the vertical line. This is where the eyes will go. Draw two small circles for the eyes, with the inner corner of each eye slightly higher than the outer corner.

Step 5: Draw the Nose

Below the eyes, draw a small triangle for the nose. The base of the triangle should be wider than the top.

Step 6: Draw the Mouth

Just below the nose, draw a curved line for the mouth. The ends of the curve should be slightly turned up at the corners.

Step 7: Draw the Hair

Add hair to the head, using whatever style you like. You can draw straight hair, curly hair, or even a ponytail.
